Dallas Mavericks and Boston Celtics to Battle for Title
After a thrilling Western Conference Finals series, the Dallas Mavericks have advanced to the 2024 NBA Finals, where they will face off against the top-seeded Boston Celtics.
The Mavericks clinched their berth in the Finals with a 118-109 victory over the Golden State Warriors in Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals. Luka Dončić led the way for Dallas with 42 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists.
The Celtics, meanwhile, secured their place in the Finals with a 105-104 victory over the Miami Heat in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals. Jayson Tatum led the way for Boston with 34 points, 12 rebounds, and 9 assists.
The NBA Finals will begin on Monday, June 6, at TD Garden in Boston. The Mavericks will be looking to win their first NBA championship since 2011, while the Celtics will be looking to add to their record total of 17 titles.
